Steel building kits

Why build with NuEco?

A custom steel kit, engineered for your land, with a small team from design through delivery.

The kit follows how you want to use the building. Engineering follows the wind, snow, and other loads on your land. You work directly with the people guiding the project.

Designed for where you build

The kit follows how you want to use the building. Engineering follows the wind, snow, and other loads on your land.

A small team, with you the whole way

You work directly with the people guiding the project, from the first design through delivery of the kit. This is not a commission sales floor. If another way of building fits your property better, we will tell you.

Know what you are buying

We talk through the kit, the plans, the quote, and the work arranged on your site, so the scope is clear before you move ahead.

Door and window frames sized for your requirements; the windows and doors themselves are not included in a standard kit. They may be provided when NuEco supplies turnkey building services in Texas. Engineered foundation plans can be part of your quote; the foundation itself is built by others.

Plan before you commit

We help you understand local requirements and the path through preliminary plans, engineering, and the permit application. Your building department decides on the permit.

  1. 1 Local requirements

What your city or county expects for the property.

  2. 2 Plans, if you need them

Preliminary drawings, or architectural plans when the project calls for them.

  3. 3 Engineering and the application

Engineered plans for the kit, then your permit application.

Why cold-formed steel

A light, strong frame, formed in the factory and bolted together on your site.

  • Prefabricated components

Pieces arrive ready to bolt together, instead of being built stick by stick.

  • Resists rot and termites

Steel does not rot, and termites do not eat it.

  • Design flexibility

Open floor space, lean-tos, and mezzanines can be part of the plan.

  • Low maintenance

Less of the rot, warp, and pest repair that wood often needs.

  • Engineered for site loads

Wind, snow, and seismic forces are designed for your location.

  • Recyclable

Steel can be recycled when the building’s life is over.

Energy performance depends on the insulation and the whole assembly. Insurance depends on the carrier.
